Mats Koray Genc is a producer and songwriter based in the stunning historical city of Trondheim, Norway. With a love of music from an early age, he began writing at 16 and further entered the world of DJ’ing. With a strong influence of Hip Hop, RnB, Trance and pop music this gave him a broad palette of influences which have been invaluable in his ability to produce a diversity of genres today.
A fantastic vocal producer and programmer with an attention to detail are just a few reasons why Mats is a popular collaborator in the studio.
He recently co-produced and co-wrote Taemin’s “Want” achieving #1 on the Korea Billboard chart, #4 on the US Billboard chart and a further #1 status on 29 iTunes charts worldwide.
His release with Jay Pryor’s “Rich Kid$” earned a #1 on music week, and Red Velvet’s “Cookie Jar” was #13 on the US Billboard chart and #4 in Japan.
Mats has worked on a variety of audio projects for TV, Film, Advertising as well various audio for B2B services.
Having now developed his partnership with Chris, he is DJ’ing, creating music for KUBE and continuing songwriting and production for other artists.
